Kristin D’Agostino is a poet, journalist and photographer based in Burlington, Vermont. A third-generation scribe, Kristin’s grandmother and mother passed the writing gene down along with high cheekbones and a penchant for Italian cooking. Kristin has been filling up notebooks since the fourth grade when she often envisioned herself as Laura Ingalls, Anne of Green Gables or Nancy Drew. Kristin’s feature stories have been published near and far, in publications including the Boston Globe, the Prague Post and Italian America magazine.
A member of the Vermont Italian Cultural Association, Kristin facilitates Viva Italia! writing workshops that inspire Italophiles and Italian Americans to embrace Italy and Italian culture.
These days she can be found scribbling poetry for her MFA at New England College; playing ukulele to her cat Perseus; or strolling the colorful streets of her Old North End neighborhood.
